Central California is probably best in spring, from late March to May. Beautiful wildflowers are blooming, and the
waterfalls (such as McWay Falls in Big Sur) have plenty of water. That makes it the perfect time for photography,
with colourful flowers as foreground. Still, other seasons are very pleasant, and barely less attractive than spring.
If you´re into surfing, fall might be the best season, along with clear skyes. Winter, on the other hand, sometimes
offers exiting storms and a delightful aroma of redwood trees around Big Sur. Summer is not as hot as southern
California or the desert, which makes it a suitable area to visit in that season.
